The spirit of the evening was further strengthened by Katha
Ek Singhasan Ki, a derivation of
“FOLK THEATRE” presented by students
of 6 to 10 years of age. This Dance- Drama, conceptualized and choreographed by
Dance Teacher, Ms. A Sadhana depicted
the story of a throne befitting the righteous king who was chosen due to his
merits and not lineage. The throne was given to Indra by Lord Shiva on the
basis of his mettle as a ruler. Indra, being pleased by Vikramaditya’s valour
and righteousness, enthrones him on the same . Raja Bhoj thereafter
mysteriously finds the throne shrouded in antiquity. To bear the crown, he
encountered hardships all the way. Assuming the same “Singhaasan” , a metaphor of power and governance, has reached Indraprastha, speaks of wrong choices,
wrong voices and its unheard noises…The call is loud and clear for the youth to
take over. The Dance- Drama ended on an optimistic note
When power itself asks for might,
A little spark,
Is all what it takes
To show the light…
WOH DIN AAYEGA !!!
There was a
special performance by the Alumni of the school, who paid their respects to
their Alma Mater, through their first passion, Dance, marking the completion of
two decades of the school. Mr. Sanjay Bhardwaj , Parent Representative,

art, music, dance and drama in culmination of the year-long journey of
discovery.
