Saraswati Puja

At Salwan, We bring up not just students, but humans who are ready to shoulder their responsibility towards their community and society. On the occasion of "Saraswati Pooja," as a part of our community outreach programme, on February 4th, 2014 we invited students from our neighbouring MCD-Nursery school to give away our old, redundant yet usable furniture to them. The objective was to instil in students empathy for the needy and less privileged.
The occasion of Saraswati Pooja, was apt and the most suitable one as their gesture also conveyed to the students the importance of being to the service of Education and being a part of the change which will help everyone grow together.
Present amongst the esteemed gathering were, Ms. Nisha Obheroi, Principal and AVSM, VSM, Sh. A. JAVED, Honourable Director of the school, under whose guidance and leadership, this event was organised.

It is but Human to be there for each other,
It is but Human to be kind, empathetic and loving,
It is but Human to serve humanity.
