Hindi Diwas
HINDI
DIWAS
Hindi,
our National language, the language that binds our whole nation
together, is celebrated as one of the most scientific and developed
languages in the world.
Hindi
was given the status of the National Language in the year 1949. In
commemoration of the same, Hindi Diwas was celebrated in the school
on 14th
September, 2015.
The
theme of this year’s Hindi Diwas celebrations was “Our National
Symbols “.
A
special assembly was organized by the students of Class V. An array
of competitions on the occasion was also held in the classes.
A
language although cannot be celebrated in a day, it takes years and
centuries to build it, conserve it and maintain it intact. However
this attempt by SJS was aimed at instilling in the students respect
and reverence for their mother tongue and one of the biggest national
symbols of India.
"Teachers,
I believe, are the most responsible and important members of society
because their professional efforts affect the fate of the
earth."
5th
September was a day full of excitement, enthusiasm and exhilaration for
children!! Teachers’ Day is always a grand affair in preparation and
celebration by children at Salwan Junior School, Naraina. Our
enthusiasts of Class V along with Principal ma’am Ms. Nisha Obheroi plan
and work together towards making this day special for all the teachers.
Similarly, this year children planned an entire function wherein they
sang songs, about importance of this day and gave
dance performances and made jingles for each and every teacher and
felicitated them with lovely hand made greeting cards and beautiful
plants.
All
the teachers had great time in reliving their childhood with dancing
and singing with the children and their colleagues together. Monday, 2 November 2015
