Treat others as you want them to treat you because what goes around comes around”
As food is to the body respect is to the soul. The greatest gift a person can give to another is not love, not compassion ,not forgiveness, not trust but respect.
To assimilate any kind of knowledge requires respect both for the teacher and teaching. Respect can be cultivated until it transforms into reverence. Respect adds value to whatever you are learning.
Respect like love has to be consciously expressed in such a manner that the other person perceives it. For respect to be felt by others it has to be demonstrative. It requires a little extra than the usual words
Respect has great importance in everyday life. Respect is really about what we admire in the world and in people. People tend to admire things that they want. For example, if you want to be beautiful you will respect beauty. If you respect women, you will treat them with kindness and love. What we want tells a lot about who we are.
Respect and Leadership go together. You can't have one without the other.
If you show respect to others, they learn by your example how to show respect. Likewise, if you see someone that isn't showing respect, let the person know.
