With a spirit
of absolute respect towards our motherland, We commemorated the 68th Independence Day, instilling in children pride
for their country and roots; patriotism and a feeling of unity in diversity.
The event saw
candid, heart warming and soul stirring performances by the children.They lent
their voices to patriotic songs and tapped their feet in unison to mark the
upcoming “Janmashtami”.
The chief
guest of the event, Brig.Ajay Sharma, Professor Haematology Army Hospital,
Research & Referral, was spellbound by the children’s performance. He
congratulated the future citizens of India on their awareness and confidence.
He urged them to sharpen their creativity and skills further so that they are
able to shoulder their responsibilities better.
Also in
attendance for the celebration were Hon’ble Chairman Maj.Gen.J.K.Kapoor and
Director Maj.Gen.M.Khanna.
The event
culminated with overwhelming display of Yoga, Jeet-Kune-Do, Gymnastics and Skating.
