Salwan Smart Sense Spree 2016
On 4.3.16, our school
organised ‘Salwan Smart Sense Spree 2016 – a Multiple Intelligence Carnival’ in
Rajouri Garden.
This carnival aimed at 8
Multiple Intelligence areas suggested by Dr. Howard Gardener – thereby infusing
8 interesting game stalls were conceptualised based on linguistic, logical,
kinaesthetic, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalist……
Apart from the delicious
refreshment, Adventure activities were also a part of the Carnival where
parents and children of classes Nur, KG, and I thoroughly enjoyed the fanfare.
Children of class I
inaugurated the event with their two hosts Jayesh and Krishang Sachdeva of I-B
welcomed their peers to initiate the presentation with felicitation of Honourable
Chairman Sir- Gen. J.K. Kapoor (Retd.), Honourable Director Sir- and respected Principal ma`am Ms. Nisha
Obheroi. Furthermore, school choir sang songs, children recited poems, danced
to folk music and presented their sporting skills through gymnastics, martial
arts, and skating.
Thereafter followed a
motivational talk by our honourable Chairman Sir who inspired parents to be
more involved in the holistic development approach of school towards children
and work in partnership in bringing out the best in Salwanians.
