All growth depends upon
activity. There is no development physically or intellectually without effort,
and effort means work. Therefore to honor the workers of our school and to
highlight their importance in the working of the school, we celebrated their
hard work, dignity and labor through Labor Day on 1st May’14 with
great aplomb and enthusiasm.
A special programme was
organized which started with the school prayer followed by School Choir where
children sang songs in their honor and a spectacular classical dance
performance engulfed the audiences in the ecstatic ambience.
Towards the end, each and every worker was honored for their area of expertise with a short poem and a hand-made greeting card made by children with love and respect. In addition to this, exciting games were organized like relay race, hit the target, lemon spoon race, hoopla and musical chairs. The children were excited to show support for their favorite employee and encouraged everyone with thunderous applause and rewards by the school. We believe in working with all our hands and putting up the best for the children and our employees as that is the essence of having: Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work.
