A Workshop on Oral Health Hygiene was conducted on

The
interactive session provided children with the opportunity to develop their
knowledge, skills, and attitudes towards the importance of the oral health. He
very well brought the possible health consequences of poor oral health to the
fore, allowing students to make informed choices.
The
session covered the following objectives:

The functions of teeth.
·
The structure of a tooth.
·
The role of sugar, chocolates, and sweets in causing
tooth decay.
·
The importance of a healthy diet in relation to
healthy teeth.
·
Causes of plaque and appropriate wats to remove it
effectively
·
Importance of teeth brushing and using the correct
technique.
·
The importance of visiting the dentist monthly.
This
60 mins session enabled children to get the answers to the queries related to
tooth extraction, tooth decay, braces treatment tooth sensitivity, tooth
fracture etc...
The
informative workshop not only improved the knowledge of students but also
updated the teachers with various new proficiencies regarding Oral health
Hygiene.
