Vasant Panchami Celebration

Vasant Panchami was celebrated in school on
12th February,2016. Vasant Panchami Day is dedicated to
Saraswati,the Goddess of knowledge,music,arts,science and technology. We
worship Goddess Saraswati to get enlightened with knowledge, wisdom and get rid
of lethargy,sluggishness and ignorance.
In our school the celebrations started with lamp lighting by respected
Principal and other faculty members. Choir group of our school recited
Saraswati Stotram on the eve of Vasant Panchami.The sholaks were perfectly
pronounced in Sanskrit. Few students sang bhajans in melodious voice. Anchoring
students of class IV & V talked about vedas & significance of Godess
Saraswati.The assembly culminated with a serene and peaceful atmosphere withall
children engrossed in worshipping goddess Saraswati.
